Karena is the founder of Scolio-Pilates, a groundbreaking approach to scoliosis management through three-dimensional exercise. With over two decades of experience, she has authored Scolio-Pilates and worked extensively to integrate movement-based solutions into scoliosis care.
Her work has brought Scolio-Pilates into medical settings, including Dayton Children’s Hospital, where it is part of the treatment plan for eligible patients. Karena’s mission is to expand access to scoliosis-specific exercise, ensuring that movement is recognized as an essential part of scoliosis care.
Her goal: "To ensure that everyone living with scoliosis knows there is hope. You can really live with scoliosis."
